{O} Family...huge post!

{O} My gooodness! This cute family are friends from our old neighborhood, who moved out of state. It was so fun to see them again! I can't even tell you how much I love your baby, Jess. Seriously... I want her! Your family is so cute and it was so fun to see you guys again. I apologize in advance for posting so many of you, but you took some really beautiful portraits, you are so cute!

Beautiful May...

I absolutely loved and enjoyed the opportunity to photograph May, this gorgeous bride. Isn't she lovely? So photogenic, and just genuinely nice. The lighting was just divine and her dress could have been made just for her, so perfect! The big day is coming up soon, and they're going to be so happy! Fiance Jon came along and was so attentive and sweet toward her, that makes me happy! Thanks so much May, you are so beautiful, and I'm looking forward to your happy day! Now it's back to work for me, I've got more sessions to edit and post!

So dang cute! Their outfits were perfect, and the little one was ADORABLE! Aren't they such a beautiful little family? I think these are my very favorite kind of little kid pictures, kids just being kids. I think the best smiles are the true smiles, and they tend to come out when kids are playing and happy. We just followed her around with the camera and let her be in charge. She plays a pretty sweet game of patty cake! Thanks S family, you are just so cute!

Christmas Mini-Sessions

As an avid lover of summer it pains me to be announcing this...



































I'm thinking this will be the location, what do you think?























The leaves will have turned by then, so think fall color. My other option for a location is in the canyon and I'm having a hard time deciding, so I'll poll those who sign up for the mini sessions for input. I'm only taking 3 groups for these mini sessions, and I'm limiting it to 5 people per group. Mini sessions are great for those wanting updated Pictures for Christmas Cards or to give as gifts without the expense or time of a full session.

Also, please note that September is full and I have only one or two more spots in October and probably only one more for November.I might *possibly* do another set of mini sessions mid November (possibly urban?). Contact me if you are interested and I'll look at expanding my offerings. I will not be offering any sessions between Thanksgiving and the beginning of January, so this is it for this year. I'm also changing my pricing and package details in 2010. And as a side note: my new website is SO CLOSE to being ready to go live. I think I might do a give-away to celebrate the launch, so stay tuned!

fun family

This shoot was SO much fun for me! The kiddos where all very cooperative and photogenic, especially the little one. Oh. My. Goodness... was she fun to photograph! This was an easy job! It was so fun to try a new location and do something a bit different. I had so many favorites that I had to "narrow it down" to this bunch. Seriously. Thanks, R family for the fun!

My niece! She's going to be 3 years old next week! She really liked this new prop... I found this little blue ukulele at the D.I. last week for $10!!! It's a great little instrument for my boys, plus it makes a great little prop!Gotta love the D.I.! So far this thing is a hit with the 2-3 year old crowd. Thanks to R and her mommy for the fun! I love that she just let me take over and style the whole shoot! :)
