B Family Preview

Hooray for a new location! I've been eying this spot for quite some time now, and I'm really excited about it! More of these will be coming soon, but for now... isn't she just so cute?? Little Miss Hannah was one of the EASIEST kids I've ever photographed. She did awesome! Her mom takes great pictures and she is no stranger to the camera. This was a lot of fun, guys! I'll get more up here soon!

I'm not finished editing these yet, but I just couldn't wait to post some of my so-far-favorites! Isn't Shantel such a beautiful bride?(Inside and out, I promise.) You should have seen her climbing on ledges barefoot in her wedding dress and not even caring! David is a lucky guy. And she is pretty lucky too. He was pretty much her personal fan club. I would start taking her picture and he would be behind me saying "Wow, you are so pretty, Shantel!" And so many other sweet things just like that. They were so much fun to be around, and I'm really excited for their REAL wedding day... which is soon!

This was a lot of fun, we did Bridals and a lot of the actual wedding portraits on the same day, so on the REAL day they can take their time and slow things down a little. There are so many more that I just can't wait to share, so you'll all be seeing a LOT more of this happy little couple in the weeks to come. This was my first shoot with my newest lens, and I think it has earned a spot as my new favorite thing! I'm loving the sharpness and clarity and it was a lot of fun to shoot with. Stay tuned for more... Oh, and by the way, she made the bouquet herself! And don't you love the orange and navy blue color scheme? I can't wait to see how it all looks!

The "H" Family

Holly, the amazing mom of these *two year old twin boys*, is also a photographer. We did a swap, I took pictures of her cute family and she took pictures of my family. We were friends from back in our Snow College days and have just recently found one another again.It's been so fun to re-connect and have someone to talk photo with! Thanks, guys! Your family is adorable! (And I can't even tell you how much I appreciate having a picture of my family... with me in it too! Seriously. )








Ahhh.That feels good! Now I'm all caught up! I did myself a favor, and didn't book any sessions for the last two weeks. (I try to only take only one to two sessions per week anyway. My family is young and they need their mommy at home.) We have made HUGE progress on our basement finishing, which means my PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO is near completion. I have a door! And walls with paint! All I need is baseboards and floor covering! YAY!
